Online hosiery e-tailer mytights.com reported positive results since its launch earlier this year. Peerius, a company specialising in technology for online fashion e-tailers, designed a new patent-pending technology capturing visitor browsing behaviour and purchase history to make recommendations from the e-tailers catalogue about other products that visitors would also be highly interested in purchasing. The average order value has now increased by 32% on the site when recommendations are displayed using the Peerius technology. The company is based in London Bridge and focuses exclusively on the online fashion market and related sectors.

Roger Brown, CEO of Peerius commented: "We have spent 6 months fine tuning the technology to make it work effectively. The technology is intuitive which means the longer it is being used on a site the better and better it gets at putting the most appropriate product recommendations in front of the most appropriate visitor. Achieving 32% increase in Average Order Value is very encouraging but we believe we can get it higher just through the technology alone. A further 5 fashion e-tailers are being road tested at the moment and will roll out in October/November. The model seems to work very well for fashion e-tailers as it’s completely focused on the Apparel market and related sectors."
