Pitti Uomo, the men's biannual trade show in Florence, Italy, is upgrading its classic brand portfolio and making way for more directional designers. New brands showing will include Puma by Mihara Yasuhiro, Dirk Bikkenberg and denim connoisseurs, Lee. There will also be a unique presentation by Walter van Beirendonck

This year's show theme revolves around the topic of sustainable transportations and is called Free Cycle - Free Mobility. In association with the ANCMA (Associazione Nazionale Ciclo Motociclo Accessori) the bicycle is not solely represented as a means of transport or fashion accessory, but also as an art installation created by Oliviero Baldini in the main courtyard. Sporadic bicycle components will be put to use in an original way around the fair, such as graphic elements and displayed within different sections of the show.

Pitti Uomo's Infinity Rooms offer visitors avant-garde, contemporary luxury and unconventional brands. At 59,000 square metres of fashion that makes it one of the most important shows on the men's calendar.

Pitti runs from 18-21 June.
