Plus-size show comes to UK

The UK's first ever plus-size fashion and accessories event for women is coming to London next summer, according to just-style.com. Women XL will be held at The Business Design Centre in Islington for three days and is expected to attract high street and specialist retailers alike. With half of all women in the UK a size 16 or more, a large amount of female consumers are in search of plus-size fashion.

"Women XL will recognise the fact that women want to look their best and feel good about themselves whatever their clothes size and give them the chance to shop for gorgeous clothes and accessories in a vibrant and relaxed atmosphere," says Cathy Norris of XL Shows.

The show will offer a variety of fashions, from bridal, lingerie and evening wear to maternity, swimwear and wider-fitting boots.The diverse fashion ranges for women with size 16 or over will be on show from 8-10 June 2006.
