Pollini appoints Jonathan Saunders

British designer Jonathan Saunders has been appointed as Creative Director for Pollini’s ready-to-wear and licensed product ranges. The selection of the Central Saint Martins graduate, as Creative Director, is part of Pollini’s repositioning plan. Moving more towards directional designs, the brand choose British fashion photographer Craig McDean and artists M/M Paris for its AW08 campaign.

The production and distribution of Pollini’s luxury goods is owned by Aeffe S.p.A., and listed on the STAR segment of the Italian stock exchange. Aeffe was founded in 1980 by Alberta Ferretti and her brother Massimo. The company also looks after Alberta Ferretti, Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti, Moschino, Moschino CheapandChic and Jean Paul Gaultier.
