Luxurious nightwear label Poule de Luxe introduces its first collection of vintage inspired nightgowns during trade show Salon de la Lingerie in Paris. The four new ranges of nightdresses come in linen and silk featuring strong colours, lace detailing and 50s style prints. Each design is inspired by vintage fashion from 18th century to 1950s.

Victoria Farrow, founder and designer at Poule de Luxe, says: “I have been delighted by the positive response to my first collection. People are prepared to pay for quality and style. The returns rate is less than 5%. Selling to trade, I hope to reach a larger number of people with my designs and to be able to concentrate on design, managing the manufacturing and making processes, and ensuring the quality of every aspect of every gown. I know how much time it really takes to produce the highest quality.”

Prior to opening Poule de Luxe, Farrow was chief executive of the Museum of Garden History in Lambeth, London. She completed a degree in furniture design at Chelsea & Ravensbourne colleges, has been a member of the Chelsea Arts Club for over twenty years, and studied millinery for three years. Poule de Luxe launched in 2009.
