Primark aims to make a difference this Christmas and is therefore running a special Christmas campaign this week to support the Make-A-Wish foundation.
The value Irish retailer has teamed up with the global charity which grants 'wishes' to seriously ill children between 3 and 17 and their families and will be donating 2 pounds for every Christmas jumper sold in store, from December 6 to 12.
“Primark is proud to support the charity Make-A-Wish in Europe this Christmas,” commented Paul Marchant, chief executive officer of Primark. “Especially because we love the magical feeling that we get when the wishes of courageous children with incurable diseases are fulfilled. We make them happy by giving them these unforgettable moments.”
Neil Jones, the CEO of Make-A-Wish UK charity added: “We are very satisfied with our collaboration with Primark. When you buy a sweater this week, you contribute 2 pounds to this great initiative. We want to give all children and young adults with serious illnesses a valuable memory to keep.”
