Luxury knitwear brand Pringle of Scotland has launched an interactive online customisation service, allowing customers to customise its iconic signature styles including its Scottish cashmere twinset and argyle styles.

The Deconstructed Studio platform is part of the brand’s bicentennial celebrations and allows customers to customise their own Pringle of Scotland knitwear with inspirational colours, exclusive Scottish cashmere, as well as personalise them with their initials.

Both women and men each have the choice of four classic Pringle styles to choose from, including the twinset and the argyle jumper, and 28 colours to mix and match as well as the option to add a monogram with personalised options taking around six weeks to make and delivery.

For instance the online platform allows you to change all colour elements of its signature women’s colourblock twinset cardigan, including the body, the bottom rib trim, neck trim, sleeves, and sleeve trim to create a personalised look, as well a then add a Pringle logo and up to three initials.

The Deconstructed programme also features collaborations with style influencers such as Tilda Swinton, Manolo Blahnik, Caroline Issa, Bryan Boy and David Shrigley, who have all created their own personalised knits. Tilda Swinton opted for a men’s argyle V-neck in warm beige and red, while Caroline Issa selecting a natty twinset in shades of purple, blue and yellow.

Pringle of Scotland’s head of design, Massimo Nicosia said: “We are thrilled to be showcasing Scottish cashmere and manufacturing with the deconstructed programme. It is a fantastic showcase for our partners delivering unique Scottish cashmere styles within just six weeks.”

The Deconstructed Studio is part of the brand’s 200 years anniversary celebrations and there are plans to roll it out from online to dedicated microsite and electronic kiosks with select partner stores such as Selfridges in the UK and Lane Crawford in Hong Kong and Mainland china.
