Ralph Rucci returning to New York Fashion Week

Ralph Rucci is scheduled to debut his fall 2016 collection at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16. This might seem mundane, and like he is just another designer on the fashion calendar, but, this marks Rucci's return to New York Fashion Week.

On the CFDA calendar, which is still in the works, there is a box for RR 331 in the February 16, 7p.m. column. Let it be known, RR 331 is Rucci's line of apparel and footwear that has a broad range of price points according to WWD.

In 2014, Rucci left his namesake label, and it was unclear what his next move was going to be. Rucci was one of the last great American designers who showed couture, and his departure from his eponymous label was a great loss to the fashion industry.

Rucci announced that his presentation will take place in Times Square, though not much else is known at this time. A representative for Rucci wasn't immediately available for comment.
