On September 6th, Retail week launches the Retail Week Awards 08. Retailers are invited to apply online. The deadline closes on November 2nd and winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on March 13 th, 2008 at Grosvenor House, Park Lane in London. Like previous years several categories are selected, which include Retail Advertising Campaign of the Year, Shopping Location of the Year supported by Land Securities and Emerging Retailer of the Year made possible by Numis.
Awards like The Retailer of the Year will be judged conducted by specialists within each area and a selected panel will be responsible for choosing a winner in each category from the shortlist. Prior to the retail trade awards, Retail Week will host a two-day conference exploring the changes and opportunities in the retail industry. Event details tba.
