Rob Ryan for Tatty Devine

London based artist Rob Ryan is teaming up with Tatty Devine design Duo, Rosie Wolfenden and Harriet Vine. Ryan will design a limited edition jewellery collection themed around his work of paper cuts and screen prints. One of the bespoke jewellery pieces features a heart shape with a brightly coloured grid. The customer can choose their favourite symbol to go inside the heart of go for one Ryan’s design.

Ryan creates detailed works of paper cuts and screen prints with flowers, birds, people and words. His pieces have a fantastical and romantic feel to them. Rob aims to "create pictures that have a positive feeling or message." His work includes his book 'This Is For You’. Paul Smith has used Ryan’s pieces and he has decorated the windows of Liberty.

The ideas behind Ryan’s paper cut inspired jewellery will be on display at the Tatty Devine gallery space on Brick Lane in East London. Several giant paper cuts will be showcased at the gallery from 24th April until 14th June 2008. Both the jewellery and paper cuts will be on sale from 24th April.
