Samata Angel young entrepreneur award win

This sure is the year for Samanta Angel, as the British born-Ghanaian fashion designer and author picked up Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the Precious Awards. The award show, sponsored by Pearson Plc and the FEAT Project, seeks to celebrate the outstanding contributions that women of colour have made to UK PLC.

Samata was named Young Entrepreneur of the Year for her determination, dedication and entrepreneurial skills and talent. The judging panel included Jessica Huie of Color Blind cards and Marcia Williams, Head of Diversity at the UK Film Council. The multi-tasking entrepreneur, who recently spoke at the London College of Fashion during enterprise week, has just launched a guidebook series,

On winning the award Samanta commented: “I am delighted to have won this award, I have been working really hard over the past year and this definitely feels like recognition of my efforts, it is also an award for everyone who has supported me.”
