Sarah Jessica Parker to launch dress collection

Sarah Jessica Parker is adding a little black dress collection to her SJP footwear and accessories line, which will be exclusive to Bloomingdales.

The actress announced her latest fashion foray to her 2.8 million followers on Instagram, stating that the SJP LBD line will be a collection of Little Black Dresses designed by her, all of which are “proudly made in the USA”.

Well folks, I've teased you long enough. It's time for the big reveal. Introducing: the SJP LBD. A new collection of Little Black Dresses designed by me, all made proudly in the USA. Our first silhouette (a surprise!) will launch this October exclusively at @bloomingdales, with more designs to follow soon thereafter.  Including this one, which I've been practically living in. Launching in October, the first silhouette is a “surprise”, the actress said, although she did add that the one she is seen twirling in for the announcement, a full-skirted knee-length black dress, which she has been “practically living in” will be part of the collection, as will more “designs to follow soon”.

If her shoe and fragrance lines are anything to go by this is going to be another hit for the actress.

The SJP LBD is expected to launch exclusive in Bloomingdales in October.
