Bertrand Guyon is the name that has been whispered behind closed doors when discussing who the new creative director of Schiaparelli could be. According to WWD, the designer is currently in discussion with the fashion house.

The French designer, who currently works at Valentino and is a graduate of the École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, honed his skills at esteemed fashion houses such as Givenchy and Christian Lacroi. His history makes him an ideal candidate for the position at Schiaparelli, who is rumored to be returning to its roots after the departure of its former creative director, Marco Zanini, who left the label after only a year at the helm.

Currently owned by Italian entrepreneur Diego Della Valle, Schiaparelli has been in search of a new creative director since last November, after Zanini sudden exit.
