Serpentine party off to wet start

The annual Serpentine Gallery party in Hyde Park got off to a wet start, but the torrential downpours didn't deter the fashion and gentry crowd from kicking their heels.

Hosted by the shoe and accessory to-the-stars label Jimmy Choo, revelers such as Roland Mouret, John Varvatos, Brittany Murphy and Paris Hilton danced the night (rain) away. This year's architectural pavilion was designed by Alvaro Siza and Eduardo Souto de Moura.
