Showstudio and Swarovski present Fashion DJs

Showstudio has launched a partnership with Swarovski to stage Fashion DJs, celebrating the relationship between musical performance

and fashion exhibitionism. Showstudio founder Nick Knight has created a three-day music and fashion event to be held in the famous Abbey Road Studios on the 9th, 10th and 11th July. A number of very special fashion creatives and personalities have been invited to be a ‘Fashion DJ’, such as Naomi Campbell, Giles Deacon, Stephen Jones, Jefferson Hack and Bella Freud. Each will host a ‘set’, incorporating a selection of music and chat, as well as invited musical and art performances of the Fashion DJ’s choosing. “Music has always been a crucial part of Fashion, from the soundtracks of the catwalk to the beat the models move to in front of the photographer's camera.

 With the Fashion DJs project we aim to bring you the ‘sound’ of fashion," said Nick Knight Over the three days almost 1000 people will take part in what promises to be a memorable fashion event open to global viewers who can watch and listen online. Nick Knight will be filming the event throughout so that it may be screened from midday to midnight each day on SHOWstudio.com as well as broadcast on radio for London listeners on 87.7 FM.
