Smythson stationers collaborate with Erdem

British luxury stationers Smythson have collaborated with London Fashion Week Erdem to produce a limited-edition collection of notebooks and diaries. The limited edition pieces feature Erdem’s signature prints and romantic colour-blocked line drawings engraved and printed on goatskin leather. All books and diaries feature beautiful printed silk lining and two pages of the designer’s illustrations printed on Smythson signature Featherweight blue paper.

“The collection is about Japonsim. It was before a trip I took to Japan, so I was channelling something of what I dreamt it would be like. Our Smythson collaboration made so much sense; fabric has always been the foundation of my work and exploring how to use very luxe and traditional materials in a different way together came naturally to me," said the Canadian designer.
