London - Luxury e-commerce platform Style.com is collaborating with Parisian concept store Colette to offer the French retailer’s products via its website.
As part of the ongoing partnership, a series of exclusive designer collaborations will be available to buy online via Style.com and in-store, with the first being with Mansur Gavriel.
The New York-based accessories brand has created an exclusive bag style, the Market Bag, created in leather and nylon, which marks a first for the brand, which will be available in three colourways.
Colette creative director, Sarah Andelman said: “We are very proud to be part of Style.com – an iconic name online. It’s a great challenge to develop these exclusive products and it makes sense for today’s shoppers to be selling online on Style.com as well as in-store at Colette.
“We are honoured Mansur Gavriel accepted to be the first brand of this collaboration and of course we love working with Yasmin. It’s all very inspiring!”
Floriana Gavriel and Rachel Mansur, designers at Mansur Gavriel, added: “We are happy for this special opportunity with Colette and Style.com. It’s always an honour to collaborate with Sarah and we are excited to see the special edit she has put together for Style.com.”
The Mansur Gavriel collaboration will be followed by creations from designers including Christopher Kane, Coach, Erdem, Esteban Cortázar, J.W.Anderson, Julien David and Olympia Le-Tan. The partnership is an ongoing project, with new collaborations continually being launched.
Style.com’s fashion director, Yasmin Sewell said: “It’s been an incredibly creative, enjoyable and rewarding experience to collaborate with Colette and all of the brilliant designers involved with these exclusives.
“Sarah has an extraordinary eye for the freshest brands, and we’ve been able to collaborate with them to create pieces that really capture the modern, playful aesthetic of Style.com. I can’t wait to bring them all to our customer.”
The Mansur Gavriel Market Bag retails for 245 pounds.
