Sun & Swim London new offering

This year, Sun & Swim London, traditionally taking place in the third week of July, will not run as a separate event. Instead it will be collocated with Harrogate Lingerie & Swimwear from 16-18th August ‘09, enabling buyers to order their lingerie and swimwear at the same event.

The Harrogate exhibition will play host to a swimwear event featuring swim, resort and beach fashion showcases on the evening of Monday 17th August. The exhibition will see a fresh venue, as Hall A will no longer be used. The main visitor entrances will be in the newer Hall M, and in Hall C for the convenience of visitors using the car park and hotels on that side of the Halls. Suppliers will be moving their positions in the halls.

Other news includes the departure of exhibition director, Janie Fox who has run Brintex Fashion Events for seven years will be pursuing her own projects. Jo Smith, who returns to Brintex after six years, will be taking over the management of Harrogate Lingerie & Swimwear. She formerly managed the show between 1991-2001 and was a member of the Brintex Board until 2003.
