A new management solution has opened its doors in Manchester. Cutting edge fashion shop, The General Store brings together five independent brands and invested in Eurostop’s retail management solution. The store is a new venture providing a wide spectrum to consumers in terms of price and style, featuring Ringspun, Elvis Jesus, Religion, Buddhist Punk and Bolongaro.

The company has invested in Eurostop's WinPOS to capture sales at the till and track stock movements daily, managing stock levels effectively. The store also works with WinRMIS, a management application for its head office system. The investment plays a key part in the business venture's growth plans as an independent player in the fashion niche market. The company selected Eurostop for its proven expertise in providing systems for retailers in the clothing and footwear industry.

"Eurostop's solution was ideal for us, since it has been designed for the smaller independent retailer as well as larger businesses with many nationwide outlets," explained Kapil Tyagi, Head of Retail for the venture, co-owned by the individual founders of Ringspun, David Mallon, Religion, Darren Collins and Stuart Trevor, who were previously owner of All Saints.

As well as advising on and supplying suitable hardware, Eurostop also undertakes training, support and custom development. Other customers include Ann Summers, Charles Tyrwhitt, DAKS, Joseph, Knickerbox, Oliver Sweeney to name but a few.
