At the 26th edition, modefabriek, the fashion fair trade in the Benelux, will reveal its new face. With a carefully improved and extended fair concept, modefabriek is more complete and relevant than ever. Its brands segmentation now includes eight different lifestyles: refined, appearance, authentic, limited, industry, subculture, department and next, with subculture, department and next being presented for the first time. In addition, new stand concepts will be launched and 10.000 m² of full-on fashion will be added to the fair area. Modefabriek’s 26th edition offers plenty of room for new national and international talent - from promising newcomers to leading designers - to showcase their work. Inspiring supporting programmes will still be a highlight, while a continuous search is undertaken for the common features of fashion, art and design.

New Brands
modefabriek will once again be displaying a carefully chosen brand mix of high-end labels including many newcomers, this time in a completely updated compilation. A brief outline of the new brands on offer follows here:
refined is the platform for the most luxurious and progressive labels from home and abroad. Think about Just in Case, Annhagen, Hannes Roether, Stella Nova, Emma White, Trussardi, Nicole Farhi.
Leading international and widely recognized brands come together on appearance: European Culture, Hybris and One Step.
authentic introduces broadly orientated brands with their own distinctive features including classics with a fashionable touch, such as Mart Visser, Juffrouw Jansen Amsterdam, Just B, C-Sense.
Denim and denim-related labels with a headstrong creative style can be found on limited; Evisu, Blue Blood, LegEnd, Rock & Republic, Replay, Ijin Material and Fashionable & Fresh;
industry is a showcase for jeans and jeans-related labels; fashion for the new generation of style adepts with brands like Guru, Circle of Trust and Freeman T. Porter.
subculture unites independent brands with a bold sense for fashion; Stüssy, Obey, Pointers and WeSC.
department offers understated class and luxury for cosmopolitan men and women; Scapa Sports and Lacoste amongst others.
Finally, next presents an internationally orientated selection of up-and-coming labels and designers including Hope, Whyszeck, Gram, Sard, Sakina M’sa, Ignoor and Joline Jolink.

Boundless
Innovative, inspiring and creative; modefabriek offers a collected and extensive fringe programme during this 26th edition; combining fashion with product design, music and food in a contemporary way. The fair experience would not be complete without Superstore. superstore 06 ‘No Borders!’ on art, craft & culture Superstore 06, with 'No Borders!' on art, craft & culture as the theme, is fully dedicated to the worldwide cultural heritage, giving a contemporary twist to folklore and ethnic origins. Modefabriek offers up and coming fashion designers the chance to present their new collections to the national and international fashion press through the high-quality design platform cutting edge. Ten, mostly international, avant-garde designers will demonstrate why they are promising talents for the future: Gai Sorronda (AU), Miriam Schaaf (GER) and Gregor Gonsior (PLD). Also this season: modefabriek exhibition space with Red Light Fashion Amsterdam and 3rd Bachelor, two exhibitions which have been put together in collaboration with HTNK fashion recruitment & consultancy, Karel Goudsblom with Intention Field, sneak preview Individulas a/w 2009 collection, mf dine by envy, exposition ‘curated’ by reload and more!
