It girls across the globe have carried Balenciaga’s Rodeo and Alaïa’s Le Teckel bags throughout 2025 to 2026, but according to The RealReal’s “The (R)evolution of Resale” report, new styles are about to become fashion's newest obsession.

Published on Tuesday, the report highlights six styles as the “most likely to succeed” as “the future resale stars,” and it looks like Ferragamo is getting the bag.

Ferragamo Hug

Originally launched for the brand’s fall 2023 collection and refreshed with new iterations (including an East‑West silhouette) for pre‑fall 2026 under creative director Maximilian Davis, the Ferragamo Hug has found its audience online. Search interest for the style has increased 355 percent from April to June 2026, compared with January to March. That’s roughly 300 percentage points higher growth than the second bag on the list. Year over year, The RealReal has registered a 15 percent increase in search volume for the Ferragamo Hug. The success will likely impact its resale price, which currently sits between 1,500 and 3,400 dollars, as FashionUnited found.

The Row Terrasse

The Row may have a Margaux 2.0 case in the making. The Ashley and Mary‑Kate Olsen–owned brand, which saw its Margaux style go viral in 2024, is seeing an increase of 102 percent year‑over‑year in search volume for its Terrasse style, with resale prices on the platform going up to 3,400 dollars. The bag debuted as part of the brand’s pre‑spring 2022 collection. Between April and June, searches increased by 53 percent compared to the prior three months.

Celine Halfmoon

Celine’s Halfmoon bag, created under new creative director Michael Rider, is the breakout star on the list. Launched in late 2025 as part of the brand’s spring 2026 collection, the style has seen an increase of 46 percent in search volume between April and June compared with January to March. Currently, the Halfmoon (Soft Triomphe) bag in supple shiny lambskin sells for 2,800 dollars on Celine’s website, while a similar style is listed for 2,470 dollars on The RealReal.

Chanel Cerf

Call it a comeback. Chanel’s Cerf bag was launched in 2005, under the creative vision of the late Karl Lagerfeld. Averaging from 3,000 to 5,000 dollars on The RealReal, the style has seen an increase of 176 percent year‑over‑year in search volume, with queries up 38 percent between April and June compared to January to March.

Phoebe Philo Gig

Released in October 2023, as part of Philo’s debut collection for her eponymous label, the Gig bag is slowly conquering the it‑girl audience. The style showed a 15 percent increase in search volumes between April and June compared to January to March, and a 75 percent increase year over year. Gig bag listings currently average 2,000 dollars on the resale platform.

Saint Laurent Y (Tote)

Launched under the creative vision of Anthony Vaccarello in 2024, the Saint Laurent Y closes the list with a 22 percent increase in search volume year over year, and 5 percent between April and June compared with January to March. Saint Laurent Y listings are up to 3,937 dollars on The RealReal.
