It’s not the first time Tom Ford is in the news after releasing the images of his campaigns. His latest advertisement to promote his new fragrance for men has a similar provocative touch.

American photographer Terry Richardson was chosen over Marilyn Minter after Tom Ford was on a shoot with him in Milan. His provocative style of photography illustrated better what the Tom Ford for Men Fragrance is all about. In a bold graphic way he pictured two women interacting with a perfume bottle. One of the models holds a bottle between her breasts and the other one in between her thighs. The images are finished off with a high gloss to make the message even more confrontational and clear.

In the past Tom Ford received comparable responses to his Gucci ad, featuring a woman pulling down her knickers reveiling her public hair shaved in the Gucci G logo, and Sophie Dahl modeling naked for YSL fragrance Opium. The British Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) accepted the arguments given, that the pictures communicated the cutting edge sexy identity of the brand.
