New York - Tommy Hilfiger has long been a staple of New York Fashion Week, so, of course he could not miss out on the New York Fashion Week: Men's action. This is the ultimate lesson in how to get as much visibility as possible, because he will also be presenting at London Collection: Men's. Hilfiger has often held dinners and events at London Collection: Men's in the past, but, this will be his first time holding an entire fashion show.
As everyone has heard by now, this is also the first NYFW: Men's, so, it is a big summer of firsts for one of America's most iconic brands. The full list of designers showing at NYFW: Men's is still being finalized, but, with the addition of Tommy Hilfiger that adds to an impressive list that already includes Michael Kors, Public School, Rag & Bone, and Orley. While it is still two months away, NYFW: Men's is shaping up to be quite the event, but, nothing else should be expected from something hosted by the CFDA.

For his runway shows, Hilfiger will be presenting tailored, underwear, and sportswear. His London Collection: Men's show will take place on June 14, while his NYFW: Men's show will take place on July 15. Hilfiger considers this year a very major one for both his brand and men's wear in general. “Menswear has evolved tremendously over the past 30 years, and I look forward to continue supporting men’s fashion in both cities this season,” said Tommy Hilfiger in a press release. “I am excited to have the platform to bring a greater spotlight to our men’s tailored and underwear collections – particularly in light of our announcement of Rafael Nadal as the global brand ambassador for the Tommy Hilfiger underwear and Tommy Hilfiger Tailored collections beginning this Fall."
While further details are being awaited in regards to Tommy Hilfiger’s men’s collection shows, it seems to be that he won’t be holding back to make sure his men’s line continue to be as successful as possible. He will continue to host his usual industry dinner in London, but, we’ll see what events he has in store for NYFW: Men's. Given his current enthusiasm, it sure seems like it will be quite the show.
