Top Drawer Spring

Special features during Top Drawer Spring include trend forecasting, British design and ethical retail. Together with trade show organiser Clarion Retail, style experts are giving away the trends, colours and textures for 2009, summarizing the mood of the forthcoming year in the Spring Bar. Retailers can support British design by looking out for exhibitors with the Product GB brand logo at the design fair. In association with Oliver Heath, this season Eco-trail is enhanced with a fair trade element. The trail will highlight exhibitors that go out of their way to support ethical practices and fair compensation to all workers involved in a product's development.
Following the fair's previous successful seminar scheme, Clarion Retail worked closely with the British Shops and Stores Association (BSSA) to create an informative and relevant seminar schedule. Providing essential business information, these seminars are tailored to up to date topics to support retailers for the challenges ahead.
Top Drawer Spring is taking place from 18-20 January 2009 at Earls Court in London, and key exhibitors include Present Time, Wild and Wolf, La Compagnie De Provence Marseille, Abode Aroma, No Added Sugar, Bonnie Baby for the Gift section; Select Cards, and Nkuku are on display in the Stationary zone; Fashion and Jewellery feature Nina Campbell, Jackie Brazil, Alison Van Der Lande, Adele Marie; the new Home section shows Greengate, Muuto, House Doctor, Wood & Scherer, Royal VKB, Marimekko, Jansen & Co, Lush Designs, Etoile Home, Blomus, 95% Danish, Le Klint; and Garden plays host to Terrace and Garden, Burgon and Ball.
