Topshop to support future breakthrough fashion talent

Topshop has teamed up with Business of Fashion on a long-term partnership to nurture the next generation of fashion talent with the launch of the Future Voices initiative.

The partnership aims to identify, nurture and celebrate the next generation of industry breakthrough fashion talent by supporting and developing them through addressing the need for education, access and mentoring.

One of the elements of the partnership will be a Future Voices challenge launching in November to identify 10 talented individuals from around the world to participate and present their ideas at Voices, the Business of Fashion’s annual gathering for fashion industry’s leading figures, which will take place from December 1-3 in Oxfordshire.

The 10 winners will also receive a tailored mentoring programme with top industry executives to help armed them with the tools needed for future career success.

In addition, Topshop will also be facilitating complimentary, unlimited global access to Business of Fashion Professional for all students, allowing them access to fashion business analysis, insight, and knowledge.

Commenting on the partnership, Topshop global marketing, and communications director, Sheena Sauvaire said: "For Topshop, Future Voices is a progression and extension of our long time support of grassroots talent. With the unprecedented change in our industry, it is more important than ever we give young talent a platform and resources to develop their skills, aid insight and develop purposeful careers to shape our industry of tomorrow.”

Additional Future Voices content and events will be programmed throughout 2017 and announced in due course.
