Trussardi to launch Pet fashion line

Luxury fashion and lifestyle brand Trussardi has signed a licensing agreement with Fashion Streetwear Italia for the production and worldwide distribution of ‘Trussardi for Your Dog’, the brand’s first pet fashion line.

The line, which was presented during Interzoo held at the Nuremberg Expo, includes leather and cotton dog carriers, collars, leashes, dog beds, embroidered knitwear, sweatshirts, coats and down jackets for winter, all embellished with Trussardi’s signature greyhound logo.

‘Trussardi for Your Dog’ will be distributed in selected pet shops, international department stores, as well as in some of the brand’s boutiques, a statement confirmed.

The 105-year-old Italian label isn’t the first luxury brand to considered pets in their fashion collections, Louis Vuitton, Ralph Lauren, and Hermès all carry pet pieces.

Fashion Streetwear Italia has previously worked with fashion brands such as Roberto Cavalli, Missoni and Alviero Martini to create high-quality products for pets.
