German super model Claudia Schiffer has teamed up with Chinese cashmere label Tse to develop a capsule collection.

Schiffer, who launched her own eponymous knitwear line in 2011, has agreed to a two-season collaboration with Tse, the first of which is set to debut this autumn. The 17-piece collection, created together by Schiffer and Tse creative director Tina Lutz, will consist of wool-blend and cashmere knit dresses, sweaters, cardigans, capes as well as pants.

"It is anchored by my German heritage and inspired by the pebble beaches, beautiful sunsets and Fair Isles worn by our local fishermen," said Schiffer, noting that the collection incorporates different hand knit traditions such as Aran and intarsia.

“We wanted to create a range of pieces that can easily be intermixed into our customer’s current wardrobe. Claudia’s designs were a natural fit with Tse’s aesthetic and her effortless style is apparent with each piece," added Lutz.

Tse was first founded in 1989, with the aim to redefine the use of cashmere within the luxury spectrum of the fashion industry. Since tapping Lutz as creative director, the label has been praised for its use of organic fabrics and collaborations with a number of designers, student graduates and partnership with the Zarif Initiative.
