US athletic brand Under Armour and London-based designer Feng Chen Wang presented their collaborative Rebel Daughter collection in Shanghai on October 14, 2026.
Following the initial announcement of their long-term creative partnership at Paris Fashion Week in June, the event marked the collection’s first full presentation in China. The runway show featured performance fabrics integrated with Eastern structural elements, including Ruyi knot closures, Chinese standing collars, tassels, asymmetrical construction and streamlined tailoring.
The range draws design direction from a dual interpretation of the Chinese phonetic concept ‘WU’. The creative framework balances martial strength, referencing the protective discipline, power and speed of martial arts, alongside dance, which incorporates the rhythm and fluidity of contemporary dance. Offered in a colour palette of black, Kona brown and red, the apparel pieces are engineered to transition between training activities and casual wear.
“My initial inspiration came from how clothing connects with the body and moves with it,” said designer Feng Chen Wang. “What truly connects Under Armour and Feng Chen Wang is a shared understanding of the power of the body, expressed through both performance and self-expression. Through Rebel Daughter, we hope to inspire more women to move, express themselves and stand on their own terms, while staying true to themselves and recognising one another.”
The collaboration also introduces its first footwear iteration through a updated version of the UA Flare silhouette. Featuring a black-and-white colorway, cushioned midsole and patterned rubber outsole, the shoe is designed to support daily urban movement.
The UA x Feng Chen Wang collection is scheduled to launch later this year in Singapore at the Under Armour Brand House at Orchard Central, Underarmour.com.sg, and retail store Limited Edition.
