Los Angeles - Ugg Australia, popular for its iconic boots and shoewear, recently announced its collaboration with Pixar for an upcoming collection. This month, the premium lifestyle brand launched a capsule collection reflecting Pixar’s newest film “Inside Out.”
The newest collection plays with vibrant colors and different “moods” to help reflect the film being celebrated. In the film, there are distinct characters representing various states of emotion including joy, fear, anger, disgust, and sadness. The collection itself carefully illustrates these emotions through reflecting these moods by design and creation. Joy is represented by color sneakers in glittering blue, neon green and soft pink. Fear is demonstrated through Ugg Australia with a stylish blue suede shoe that has refined cross seams. “We are happy with Disney Consumer Products to have created such a special collection,” said Leah Larson, vice president and creative director of Ugg Australia. "We have the opportunity with both hands and took a product line designed to give the range of emotions experienced and [celebrated],” said Larson.
Ugg was founded in 1978 and dedicated itself to creating a luxurious, comfortable brand of shoewear. Using high-quality materials and refined craftsmanship, the brandwear gained recognition worldwide for its classic boot style that are commonly known as “Ugg boots.” The premium lifestyle brand has an annual turnover of over 1 billion dollars. Ugg currently offers footwear, outerwear, loungewear, handbags, and other products. Currently, Ugg operates over 130 concept and outlet stores in locations in New York, Los Angeles, Paris, London, and more.
The collection is available on Ugg Australia’s website as well as in stores this month.
