The UK Fashion and Textile association has unveiled its judging panel for its 2015 awards, which are set to take place May 21 at east London’s Tobacco Dock venue.

The judging panel will be made up of designers Henry Holland and Patrick Grant; journalists and editors Colin McDowell, Melanie Rickey, Alister Mackie of Another Man and Lou Goddard of ShowStudio; blogger Suzie Lau of Style Bubble; Heather Melville of the Royal Bank of Scotland and Anita Barr, group fashion buying director at Harvey Nichols.

The awards are to “honour some of the most innovative people in British fashion and textiles” stated John Miln, the UKFT CEO and company secretary, and will feature categories including awards for designer business, accessories, menswear, womenswear, childrenswear, lingerie and beachwear, as well as retailer, exporter and textiles.

Previous winners at the UKFT Awards include Christopher Raeburn, House of Holland, Matchesfashion.com and Margaret Howell.

The ceremony will be presented by models Jack Guinness and Amber Le Bon.
