Ultimate Cosmopolitan women

UK’s ultimate celebrities and real-life women were put in a sparkly spotlight at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards. Hosted by Fearne Cotton, the ceremony took place at the Banqueting House and was sponsored by beauty brand Olay. The star-studded evening was attended by the who’s who of the TV, music, radio, film and sport industry.

Sex in the City star Kim Cattrall flew in especially to pick up her award for ‘Ultimate Icon’. The Sugababes were crowned the ‘Ultimate Mistresses of Music’ and Myleene Klass received the accolade ‘Ultimate TV Presenter’. Real-Life winners also included ‘Ultimate Woman’s Woman’ Sandra Horley, CEO of national domestic violence charity, Refuge, for her incredible dedication to the protection of women and children, ‘Ultimate Editor’s Choice’ Josie Russell for displaying courage and selflessness beyond her years and ‘Ultimate Against All Odds Star’, Heather Frederiksen, Paralympic Gold Medallist, for her ability to inspire and achieve whatever life throws at her.
