Umfeld fashion exhibition

Having documented the backstage life of fashion shows for several years, photographer Iekeliene Stange will now exhibit her work in London together with Dutch artist and Victor de Bie. Iekeliene is noted for her directional approach, and has worked for Dolce&Gabbana, Gucci and Chanel.

Together they will exhibit some of their most personal work. Victor will be showing a selection of colourful paintings and drawings representing his personal surroundings and momentary self-portraits. Through instant photography, Iekeliene gives an insight to her everyday, a compact referent of her world. Those with a good eye for detail can see the intertwining of the visual processes of Victor's muse.

With this exhibition both artists give an insight into their everyday lives through colourful paintings, drawings and Polaroid’s, offering a taste of the absurd and the surreal within the world of fashion.

The show will be on display from 1st to 4th April 2009 at The Horse Hospital in South London.
