Nom de Guerre's SS08 collection “Under The Open Sky” is now available at men's design boutique oki-ni.co.uk. The New York based creative collective was founded by Holly Harnsongkram, Wil Whitney, Devon Turnbull, and Isa Saalabi. The collective combine basic and diverse influences from art, fashion, and various New York City sub-cultures, mixing culture and product.

The Spring/Summer 2008 collection is titled “Under The Open Sky”. The American idea of Manifest Destiny and her bygone Industrial Age inspired the collective - when blue collar Americans wore suits and rolled up their sleeves. Rugged denim jeans are mixed with fine tailored, tropical wool suits and smart cotton shirts come in stripes and floral prints. The collection also features subtle sweater prints inspired by Pendleton blankets. New fabrics in various technical polys accent the collection.

In October 2003, Nom de Guerre launched in downtown Manhattan. Set over a multi-level subterranean space on the corner of Broadway and Bleecker streets, the space is inspired by underground sites. Think along the lines of bunkers, tunnels and archaeological digs, creating a sense of otherworldliness.

Since its inception, Nom de Guerre is been a brand for young New Yorkers who like to mix music and arts. Nom de Guerre has the look of a high-end Army/Navy outpost with an emphasis on utilitarian basics. Next to oki-ni.co.uk, the collection is also stocked at Diverse, Liberty's and other selected boutiques across the country.
