Ungaro shows without Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan, who made many a turbulent headline during last Paris Fashion Week as artistic advisor to the house of Ungaro, was everywhere at Paris Fashion Week, except the one place she was expected: Emanuel Ungaro.

Though the press unanimously (again) dubbed the collection a disaster, the house had insisted that Ms. Lohan would be staying on — up until Monday’s show, that is, when a spokeswoman told the Herald Tribune that the actress had not been involved in the fall collection. (Ms. Lohan later told Women’s Wear Daily that she was done with Ungaro for good and that lawyers were involved.)

After hiring Lohan last year, former Ungaro CEO and President Mounir Moufarrige told WWD, "Designer-led fashion is likely not to be enough. It's a slow process going the traditional route." Moufarrige stepped down last December and declined to comment on Lohan and Ungaro when reached on Monday.
