Vauxhall Fashion Scout launches 'ones to watch'

Vauxhall Fashion Scout has launched the 'Ones to Watch' showcase at the London Fashion Week event this season. The catwalk show featured a selection of the most talented new men's and women's designer, selected by a panel of industry leaders this season. The ones to watch include knitwear specialist Alice Palmer, who uses cashmere and silk to create bold shapes and innovative designs; Lu Flux who creates one-off pieces ethically made using traditional techniques such as patchwork, pleating and knitting; Might-T by Kumilo Watari who produces textile shapes and combines unique hand drawn prints with a love of storytelling to produce clothes with a humorous narrative; and Studio 805, who's predominantly red and white garments are inspired by gaffer tape.

February 2009 is the sixth season that Vauxhall Fashion Scout has showcased new design talent as part of the Off-Schedule Calendar. The shows take place at their venue at the corner of Cromwell Road and Queen's Gate by the British Fashion Council tents.
