Versace Barbie

Donatella Versace apparently is thrilled with her new Barbie model. In fact, she calls her the "ultimate fashion icon." Barbie, who has previously modelled for Nicole Miller, Armani and Christian Dior, now has two versions of herself dressed in exclusive Versace fabrics, which are available at Versace boutiques.

Versace Barbie dons a sleeveless designer gown with cascading chiffon ruffles, and her companion Versus Barbie wears a colourful bodysuit and a short fur jacket.

"After years of dressing some of the most famous women in the world," says Donatella Versace, meaning the likes of Aguilera, J.Lo and Beyonce, "it is a thrill to dress Barbie. She's the ultimate fashion icon.'' The profits form the sales will go to the Elton John AIDS.
