Vintage Fashion, Textiles and Accessories 10 years

For ten years the Vintage Fashion, Textiles & Accessories Fair takes place at Hammersmith Town Hall approximately every four weeks. The fair features over hundred leading vintage fashion clothing dealers, from all over the UK and abroad. They gather under one roof to share their vintage finds spanning from 1800 to 1980.

Besides clothes, visitors will also find an array of handbags, linen, lace, embroidery, shoes, hats, chiffons, textiles, needlework, necklaces, gloves, trimmings, fashion magazines, costume jewellery, and feathers boas. The fair’s relaxed atmosphere belies attracts many at the forefront of fashion, showcasing something for everyone’s budget.

The Vintage Fashion, Textiles and Accessories Fair is the brainchild of Paola Francia-Gardiner and Alberto Ricca. As and experienced antique dealer, Paola used to buy, sell and wear vintage fashion in the late 70’s. At that time, she got to know lot of people who were selling vintage clothes. By the early 90’s the market was almost dead, and in 1999 she decided to organise a fair that incorporated not just vintage clothes but also included accessories and textiles.
