Viva Beads in UK

US handmade clay beaded jewellery Viva Beads will now sell directly to UK retailers. With the launch in Britain, the company wants to offer lower price points and access to a wider selection. Managed by strategic sales and marketing agency White Pebble International, the new Viva Beads UK subsidiary gives retailers a cost-effective, convenient way to do business directly with the jewellery designer. Previously, Viva Beads was only available to the UK retail market via distributors.

“By working directly with UK retailers –rather than through a distributor – we can maintain the same level of customer service, product selection and pricing that have been the keys to our success in the US market,” explains Lori Mottlowitz, co-owner of Viva Beads along with Jill Manzara. “By overseeing everything from sales to importing for our new UK subsidiary, White Pebble International has provided the perfect vehicle for us to grow our company. Their experience and solid understanding of the specialized needs of the UK marketplace help take all the guesswork out of an overseas venture for us -- without sacrificing the control we want to maintain over our levels of service and product offerings.”

Viva Beads features hundreds of creative, colourful and distinctive jewellery designs handcrafted from polymer clay using a delicate caning process. Ranging from bangle cuff bracelets and necklaces to earrings and key chains, the Viva Beads line has a growing number of new designs for men and young girls. New collections and custom designs are currently sold in more than 8,000 stores in the US market, including boutiques, card shops and other independent specialty stores.

White Pebble International will manage all aspects of the new Viva Beads UK subsidiary, including sales, customer service, other day-to-day operations, as well as importing, customs clearance, fulfilment, and more. Viva Beads will be showcasing its newest introductions and best sellers at the 6-9 September 2009 Autumn Fair International at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham UK.
