Walker & Gunn boots

For Spring Summer 2008, Walker & Gunn, of Northampton England, have launched a new online initiative to offer customers worldwide a variety of men's Chelsea Boots and Chukka Boots. This collection of boots includes designer brands Jeffery West and John White Shoes.

Walker & Gunn's selection of Chelsea Boots cater for the discerning gentleman, who seeks supportive comfort with a clean and laceless appearance. The ankle-high boots first became fashionable in the early 1960s and were popularised by the likes of The Beatles.

The Chelsea Boot features a elastic siding, running from the heel to the top of the boot. The design is inspired by a riding boot known as 'jodhpur boots'. The lace up Chukka Boot range are available in a number of leathers, including suede, calf, polished and the increasingly popular waxy pull up leather. They come with soles from the traditional rubber hard wearing unit, to a more fashionable resin profile unit and 100% leather outsoles.

Taro Gibbs, Founder of Walker & Gunn is looking for Summer 2008 to evolve the current business model by diversifying into the retail of own label footwear via the website.
