Walpole reveals shortlist for 2016 British Luxury Awards

Walpole has announced its shortlist for this year’s 15th annual Walpole British Luxury Awards, which aims to celebrate exceptional brands and individuals for their work in the UK luxury sector and overseas.
The luxury trade body, which represents some of Britain’s celebrated luxury barns, such as Burberry and Alexander McQueen, has named the likes of Charlotte Olympia, Jimmy Choo and Stella McCartney among its shortlist for the British Luxury Brand of the Year award. Set to take place Monday, November 14 at The Dorchester, London, this year’s award ceremony includes 10 categories such as British Luxury Brand of the Year, Champion of Luxury Manufacturing, Digital Innovation and Leader in Luxury.
The winners of the awards will be revealed during the award ceremony and will be selected by a panel of judges led by Michael Ward, MD of Harrods and Chairman of Walpole, which includes Lucia van der Post, Sarah Anderson, (Head of Brand & Partnerships, GREAT Britain Campaign), Peter Ting, Gillian de Bono (FT How to Spend It), Marcus Waring (Restaurateur), and Richard Carter (Rolls-Royce Motor Cars).

Walpole annual awards ceremony is the only of its kind which spans all sectors within the luxury market. Founded in 2001, the Walpole British Luxury Awards were created to honour those who showcase excellence in the luxury sector. The shortlist is as follows:
