Watch out for Jay-Z

Hip hop artist Jay-Z has teamed up with Swiss watch brand Audemars Piguet in lieu of his 10 year anniversary in the music business.The limited-edition selection, called the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Jay-Z 10th Anniversary Limited Edition series will be sold exclusively in New York and retail between £14,000 and £43,000. Of the 100 pieces made, 17 have been pre-ordered and sold already.

Lucky watch buyers will also receive a 40-gigabyte Apple iPod loaded with Jay-Z albums for free. The inscription on the back is to read: "I'm so far ahead of my time, I'm about to start another life. Look behind you - I'm about to pass you twice," a line from Jay-Z's song, "Hovi Baby."This is not the first time Piguet has brought in a celebrity to the brand. In 2000, the firm teamed up with Arnold Schwarzenegger and created a chronograph for "Terminator 3."
