Whistles unveils collaboration with Buddy

Premium British retailer Whistles is launching a capsule collection of unisex bags and shoes in collaboration with cult Japanese brand Buddy.

Launching on March 24, to coincide with the opening of the brand’s first standalone menswear store opening on Boundary Street in the heart of Shoreditch, the Whistles x Buddy collection features a selection of unisex designs that include smooth finish leather trainers, coin wallets, canvas totes, and a roll top backpack.

Japanese brand Buddy is known for its pared-back silhouettes and functional design, which Whistles felt “mixed perfectly” with their own style.

The collection has been inspired by Buddy’s creative director Tetsuya Iizuka mantra ‘make happy’ as well as his love of dogs to create a range that combines Buddy’s classic shapes with our premium construction and design.

The capsule collection retails from 60 pounds and will be available from March 24 in stores and online.
