Zalando invites you to "Step into Marni"

German retail giant Zalando is gearing up to #StepIntoMarni, with the unveiling of its new, exclusive collaborative footwear collection with the Italian design brand. Entitled 'Step into Marni', the collection is set to launch online at Zalando October 27, 2016.

To two company's teamed up to recreate 4 of Zalando's best-selling footwear brands - Dr. Martens, Reebok, Timberland and Vans. Famous styles from each label have been given a Marni makeover for the collection, which sees the original designs updated with an artistic and avant-garde twist the Italian brand is known for. Marni experimented with the shape and form of each shoe before updated the styles with new leather textures, colours and typical Marni aesthetics such as fringes.

"Together with Marni and the partner brands, we wanted to go further and do something that had not been seen yet," commented Jolanda Smit, global head brand communications at Zalando. "It was important for us, as an online fashion platform, to find the right designer for this collaboration."

Prices for the collection, which includes both unisex designs as well as mens and womens footwear, are set to range between 129,95 euros for the Vans Authentic to 249,95 euros for the Timberland 6 inch premium boot.
