ZALORA debuts new bag from Jason Wu Grey x Sometime by Asian Designers

ZALORA, Asia’s prime online fashion destination has announced the launch of a new tote bag from Jason Wu Grey and Sometime by Asian Designers.

The Edie tote bag marks the first international designer collection between the two brands. Designed for practicality, the item is crafted vertically with three additional compartments and a magnetic hardware seal.

Available in two sizes, the piece comes in six eye-catching colors that are sure to compliment any ensemble - including Slipper, Soft Pink, Creme, Orange, Mustard, and Ultramarine.

An additional shade, Ultramarine, will be available to buyers in Taiwan - serving as a tribute to Wu’s birthplace.

Now based in New York, the hues were inspired by Hue’s appreciation for the work of German-American modern Josef Albers.

“The inspiration for the Edie tote comes from my love of mid-century art and architecture,” Wu said in a press release.

“Jason Wu is an extraordinary burst of creative energy in the fashion industry,”Sometime’s Head of Product, Nicole W. said in a statement. “It was our job to make sure that his design continues to inspire bag lovers and at the same time, for our clientele to own exceptional quality bags.”

The Edie tote bag will be available beginning on 4th June 2018 via the e-commerce platform for $199 in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the Philippines.
