Spanish fashion giant Zara is offering its home collection not only via its actual stores, but they'll also be easy accessible via the web.

The Vice President and Chief Executive of Inditex, Pablo Isla announced Zara is targeting thirteen European countries including Spain, UK and the Benelux. It’s for the first time Zara is going to focus on online sales with its interior collection.

An extensive catalogue of around 2,000 is available on the virtual store featuring all current lines of Zara Home and Zara Home Kids. The home collection has introduced textile and decorative products for the interior, that follow the latest trends and keeping up to date with the fast changing fashion. The prices of purchase are set identical to those in the store and will be delivered on the customer’s doorstep within a maximum of ten days.

Since the first Zara Home opened its doors to the public in 2003, it’s been a great success. This reflected both in the growth of its sales – which reached 139 million euros in 2006, with an increase of 78% with respect to the previous year- and in its commercial expansion. Currently, Zara Home is present in 18 countries with 174 stores of which 22 launched this year. By the end of 2007, it is planned to incorporate between 35 and 45 new stores of which 70% are based outside Spain.
