Love Island star and influencer Zara McDermott has launched a new women’s ready-to-wear brand in collaboration with Luminoso Brands, the brand licensing and marketing division of Poeticgem group.

Called Rise, the casual womenswear brand aims to offer “comfort, inclusivity and style,” and launches with a capsule collection of versatile, easy-wear pieces catering "to the diverse needs of today's fashion-loving individuals”.

The first drop of essentials is available in 384 Tesco F&F Clothing locations across the UK and includes a linen short set, modal rib trouser set, and second skin athleisure crop tops and leggings in UK sizes ranging from 6 to 22, with prices ranging from 12 to 28 pounds.

McDermott has worked closely with Poeticgem throughout the design process to ensure that the line is accessible to all shapes and ages to provide a foundation for "effortless mixing and matching" while ensuring that the brand is accessible to everyone.

On the launch of Rise, McDermott said in a statement: “This is something I’ve envisioned for a long time, and I have been working on this for the past few years. I knew this had to be perfect, and it had to speak to all women.

“It had to be accessible and inclusive, as well as comfortable and wearable. I wanted each piece to speak for itself; and I worked on each design to ensure that it had that “reach for” factor, those staples in your wardrobe that you just reach for all the time because they are so versatile.”

Rise’s DNA revolves around comfort, featuring silhouettes, explains the brand, and has been designed for easy outfit building, layering, and an overall sense of ease, and utilises super-soft fabrics, including modal mixes and butter-soft Spandex and linen.

McDermott added: “Fabrics have been key for me throughout this process, I wanted the fabrics to be so soft to touch and delicate on the body. I think we have achieved something beautiful, and I am excited for this first drop of Rise, and for the brand to evolve as it grows.”

The debut capsule is available exclusively to Tesco F&F Clothing, with Rise adding that it plans to expand its design and distribution in the future and is already working on a ‘Rise Black Label’ featuring more elevated essentials in premium fabrics.

Anuj Banaik, managing director at Poeticgem Group, said: "Rise aligns with our vision at Poeticgem of bringing innovative and accessible fashion to everyone. Zara's passion and our expertise have merged to create a brand that stands for comfort, inclusivity, and style. We're excited for the journey ahead and the impact Rise and Zara will have on everyday fashion."
