Former Michael Kors global creative director Andrea Linett has been named as board advisor at London-based social shopping site Styloko.

Linett, who was also previously fashion creative director at eBay and founding creative director of Lucky, has been brought on to the e-commerce business to help “strength its position in the online marketplace”, which offers users a personalised shopping feed.

Commenting on her appointment, Linett said: “In the course of my career in the fashion industry, my mission has always been to help people find cool stuff, discover and make shopping easy and fun, so I could not be more thrilled to be joining the Styloko team – it’s a match made in heaven.”

Founded in 2012 by Yury Tereshchenko and Ivailo Jordanov, Styloko is billed as the “fashion discovery engine”, which acts as a personal shopper for its users sharing curated boutiques featuring brands including Céline, Jaeger and Alexander Wang.
