Animal names new managing director

UK action sports lifestyle and fashion brand Animal has named Paul Fowler as its new managing director. Fowler, who will take up his new role in January, has been working within the Animal retail business throughout 2015 and assisting expanding the brand’s retail portfolio.

Fowler has previous served in executive director roles within the branded apparel and fashion sectors including at Ben Sherman and Nicole Farhi.

Commenting on his appointment, Fowler said: “It’s an exciting time for the business as we continue our retail store opening programme as well as evolving the product offering. With a passionate and talented team I am very much looking forward to driving the brand to achieve ambitious business objectives and being a part of the Animal success story.”

Animal was founded in 1987 and its range includes action sports inspired clothing, watches, wetsuits, technical outerwear, eyewear, footwear, luggage and accessories, which serve action sports such as windsurfing, snowboarding, skateboarding, and mountain biking.
