British heritage label Barbour has appointed Zalando Germany’s Paget Billingsley as head of womenswear.
Billingsley has held the same position at the German arm of Zalando since 2013 and will be joining Barbour by the end of the month to lead the strategic direction of womenswear for both the Barbour and Barbour International brands.
Barbour managing director Steve Buck said: "We are delighted that Paget is joining us and look forward to welcoming her into the business. She will be responsible for the strategic direction of womenswear for both the Barbour and Barbour International brands as we continue to grow this segment not just in the UK but across all of our international markets.”
Prior to Billingsley’s appointment, womenswear at Barbour has been looked after by the overall design team, headed up by director of design Ian Bergin.
