Burberry announces directorate change

Luxury heritage label Burberry has announced the appointment of Fabiola Arredondo as a non-executive director and member of the Audit, the Remuneration and Nomination committees, effective from March 10, 2015.

"We are delighted to welcome Fabiola to the Board," commented Sir John Peace, Chairman at Burberry. "Her international business experience including in the technology, media and luxury retail sectors will be a great asset to Burberry as we continue to focus on delivering long term shareholder value."

Fabiola is currently the managing partner of Siempre Holdings, a private investment firm based in Connecticut, US. She is also non-executive director of Experian, Rodale, National Public Radio, the World Wildlife Fund US and a trustee of Sesame Workshop. Fabiola previously served as a non-executive director of Saks Incorporated and prior to joining Siempre Holdings, she held senior roles at Yahoo, the BBC and Bertelsmann.
